Product Specific Information

  • Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water and centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
  • The peptide is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, zebrafish, and xenopus.

Target Information

STAM1:
Involved in intracellular signal transduction mediated by cytokines and growth factors. Upon IL-2 and GM-CSF stimulation, it contributes to signaling leading to DNA synthesis and c-myc induction. May also play a role in endocytic trafficking and T-cell development.
Subunit: Heterodimer composed of STAM1 and HGS/HRS. Interacts with STAMBP/AMSH.
Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed.

STAM2:
Participates in intracellular signal transduction mediated by cytokines and growth factors, likely through association with ubiquitinated cargo proteins on early endosomes for lysosomal trafficking. Upon IL-2 and GM-CSF stimulation, contributes to DNA synthesis and c-myc induction, and may play a role in T-cell development.
Subunit: Heterodimer or heterotrimer composed of STAM2 and HGS/HRS; may include EPS15. Interacts with STAMBP/AMSH, JAK2, JAK3, ubiquitinated proteins, USP8/UBPY, CBX5 (via PxVxL motif), and VPS37C.
Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitously expressed.
