For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

VRL-1 (TRPV2) is a calcium-permeable, non-selective cation channel exhibiting outward rectification. It is partially regulated by growth factors such as IGF1, PDGF, and morphogenetic neuropeptides.
Unlike TRPV1, VRL-1 does not respond to capsaicin, acid, or moderate heat but is activated by high temperatures (~52°C).
Within sensory ganglia, VRL-1 is expressed in medium- to large-diameter neurons, suggesting a role in high-threshold heat response.
VRL-1 transcripts are also found outside the sensory nervous system, implying activation by stimuli other than heat.
VRL-1 is one of six members of the vanilloid-like TRP-channel family, now known as the TRPV family.
