Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human APRIL, BAFF, TACI, and recombinant mouse BCMA is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
The BCMA (TNFRSF17) protein is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. It is preferentially expressed in mature B lymphocytes and plays a role in B cell development and autoimmune responses.
BCMA binds TNFSF13B/TALL-1/BAFF, leading to NF-κB and MAPK8/JNK activation, and interacts with TRAF family members to mediate cell survival and proliferation.
