MYO5B는 CART complex와의 상호작용을 통해 소포 수송에 관여합니다. CART complex는 transferrin receptor recycling에 필요하지만 EGFR degradation에는 관여하지 않습니다.
RAB11A 및 RAB11FIP2와 함께 NPC1L1을 세포막으로 운반하며, RAB11A와 함께 CFTR trafficking 및 transferrin recycling을 조절합니다.
또한 RAB11A 및 RAB8A와 함께 상피세포의 극성 형성에 관여하고, RAB25와 함께 transcytosis를 조절합니다.
