Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IFN-γ R1 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
The IFNGR2 gene encodes the non-ligand-binding beta chain of the gamma interferon receptor. Human interferon-gamma receptor is a heterodimer of IFNGR1 and IFNGR2.
Defects in IFNGR2 cause Mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial disease (MSMD), also known as familial disseminated atypical mycobacterial infection.
MSMD is genetically heterogeneous, exhibiting autosomal recessive, autosomal dominant, or X-linked inheritance.
