Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Class II PI3 kinases, including PIK3C2A, phosphorylate the 3 position of PI or PI4P.
These enzymes are involved in receptor-mediated cellular processes such as insulin signaling, neuronal survival, and growth factor signaling.
PI3-kinases play roles in pathways related to cell proliferation, oncogenic transformation, cell survival, migration, and intracellular trafficking.
PIK3C2A contains a lipid kinase catalytic domain and a C-terminal C2 domain, which mediates calcium-dependent phospholipid binding and protein-protein interactions.
Its PI3-kinase activity is insensitive to nanomolar levels of wortmannin and may be activated by insulin, suggesting involvement in integrin-dependent signaling.
