Target Information
Nucleolin (NCL) is a eukaryotic nucleolar phosphoprotein involved in the synthesis and maturation of ribosomes. It is primarily located in the dense fibrillar regions of the nucleolus.
The human NCL gene comprises 14 exons and 13 introns, spanning approximately 11 kb. Intron 11 encodes a small nucleolar RNA known as U20.
