Target Information
FKBP5는 immunophilin 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 면역 조절 및 단백질 접힘과 수송과 같은 기본적인 세포 과정에 관여합니다. FKBP5는 FK506 및 rapamycin과 결합하는 cis-trans prolyl isomerase로서, calcineurin 억제에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 90 kDa heat shock protein 및 P23 protein과 함께 성숙한 hetero-oligomeric progesterone receptor 복합체와 기능적으로 상호작용합니다. FKBP5 유전자는 다중 polyadenylation site를 가지며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 전사체 변이를 생성합니다.
