Target Information
iNOS (Inducible Nitric oxide synthase, NOS)는 세포 간 신호 전달에 관여하는 무기성 기체 자유 라디칼인 NO의 생성을 매개합니다.
NO는 혈관 이완, 신경전달 및 세포 독성 반응에 영향을 주며, NOS 패밀리 단백질에 의해 L-아르기닌이 산화되어 L-시트룰린과 NO를 생성합니다.
iNOS는 간에서 발현되며, LPS 및 특정 사이토카인에 의해 유도됩니다.
세포 종류로는 대식세포, 간세포, 활막세포, 평활근세포 등이 있으며, IFN-γ, TNF, IL-1/2, LPS 등에 의해 iNOS 발현이 증가합니다.
iNOS 활성은 사이토카인 유도 후 지연된 반응을 보이며, 장기간에 걸쳐 NO 생산이 증가합니다.
iNOS 기능 이상은 식도이완불능증 및 발기부전 등의 질환과 연관되어 있습니다.
