Cyclin B2는 B형 사이클린(B1, B2) 계열에 속하는 단백질로, 세포 주기 조절에 필수적인 p34cdc2와 결합합니다.
Cyclin B1은 미세소관과 공존하지만, Cyclin B2는 주로 골지 영역에 위치합니다.
또한 Cyclin B2는 Transforming Growth Factor Beta RII와 결합하여 TGF-β 매개 세포 주기 조절에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
