Tachykinin Receptor 1 (NK1 receptor)는 Tachykinin Receptor 하위군에 속하며, 신경전달물질인 substance P에 의해 인지질 대사(phosphatidylinositol metabolism)를 매개합니다. 이 수용체는 우울증, 불안, 스트레스의 조절과 관련되어 있으며, 행동 반응, 신경 생존, 심혈관 및 호흡 기능 조절에도 관여합니다. 또한 류마티스 관절염 및 골관절염의 진행과 관련이 있습니다. 두 가지 변이형이 alternative splicing을 통해 생성되며, 주로 뇌, 혈액 림프구, 코, 소장, 위에서 발현됩니다. ESTs는 뇌와 비장 라이브러리에서 분리되었습니다.
