Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
RAB family members are small, RAS-related GTP-binding proteins that regulate vesicular transport. Each RAB protein interacts with multiple proteins involved in exocytic and endocytic pathways.
RAB7A regulates vesicle traffic in late endosomes and lysosomes and is implicated in cellular vacuolation caused by Helicobacter pylori VacA cytotoxin. Mutations in conserved residues of RAB7A have been linked to Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) type 2 neuropathies.
