Target Information
CD204 (MSR1) 유전자는 class A macrophage scavenger receptor를 암호화하며, 대체 스플라이싱에 의해 3가지 형태(1, 2, 3)를 생성합니다. 이 수용체는 대식세포 특이적 삼합체 막당단백질로, 죽상동맥경화증, 알츠하이머병, 숙주 방어 등 다양한 대식세포 관련 생리 및 병리 과정에 관여합니다.
Type 1과 Type 2 isoform은 변형된 LDL(endocytosis)을 매개하며 기능적 수용체입니다. Type 3 isoform은 변형된 LDL을 내재화하지 못하고 소포체 내에 머물러 기능을 억제하는 음성 조절자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
MSR1 관련 질환으로는 Barrett 식도 및 전립선암 등이 보고되어 있습니다.
