Target Information
SOCS2는 STAT-induced STAT inhibitor (SSI) 패밀리에 속하며, cytokine signaling의 음성 조절자로 작용합니다. 이 유전자는 erythropoietin, GM-CSF, IL10, IFN-γ 등 특정 cytokine에 의해 발현이 유도됩니다. SOCS2 단백질은 insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF1R)의 세포질 도메인과 상호작용하여 IGF1R 매개 세포 신호 조절에 관여합니다. 마우스 knockout 연구에서 SOCS2가 IGF-1 관련 성장 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 제시되었습니다.
