VANGL2는 DVL1, DVL2, DVL3의 N-말단과 상호작용하며, RHOA 신호를 통해 심근 세포의 극성화 및 이동을 조절합니다.
청각 세포의 stereociliary bundle 방향 조절 등 평면 세포 극성 조절에 중요한 역할을 수행합니다.
