Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리의 막관통형 당단백질로, 신경계 전반에 발현되며 120–180 kDa의 여러 이소폼으로 존재합니다.
CD56은 T세포와 NK세포에 존재하며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 시냅스 가소성 등에 관여합니다. Polysialic modification은 CD56 매개 세포 부착을 감소시킵니다.
CD56은 laminin, integrin 등 세포외기질 성분과 결합하여 상동 및 이종 상호작용을 매개합니다. 대부분의 신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직, 신생물(예: retinoblastoma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, neuroblastoma)에서 발현되며, 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 granulosa 세포 종양의 민감한 표지자로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있습니다.
