Target Information
이 유전자는 폐 내성 관련 단백질(LRP)을 암호화하며, vault라 불리는 다중 서브유닛 구조체의 주요 단백질입니다. Vault는 핵-세포질 수송에 관여할 수 있으며, 이 단백질은 약물 내성을 매개하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 정상 조직에 널리 분포하며, 다약제 내성 암세포에서 과발현되어 임상적 약물 내성의 유용한 표지자로 활용될 수 있습니다.
이 유전자는 두 가지 대체 엑손 2 서열을 사용하여 두 개의 전사체를 생성하지만, 두 전사체 모두 동일한 개방 읽기틀(ORF)을 가집니다.
