Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The DOK7 protein is essential for neuromuscular synaptogenesis. It mediates aneural activation of muscle-specific receptor kinase (MuSK), enabling postsynaptic differentiation and clustering of acetylcholine receptors in myotubes.
Mutations in DOK7 cause familial limb-girdle myasthenia (congenital myasthenic syndrome type 1B).
Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants.
