Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, and sulfated sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) of peripheral lymphoid tissues.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometry on normal human peripheral blood cells; use at 5 µL (0.25 µg)/test (100 µL final volume).

Brilliant Violet™ 786 (BV786) emits at 786 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser. Ensure instrument compatibility.

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
Compatibility: Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor belonging to the selectin family. It includes a C-type lectin domain, EGF-like domain, two SCR sequences, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions. CD62L is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes, including lymphocytes (except many memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
