Target Information
Hepatitis B virus (HBV)는 급성 및 만성 간질환의 주요 원인으로, 가장 흔한 혈액 매개 바이러스성 간염 형태입니다.
HBV 표면항원(HBsAg)은 large (LHBs), middle (MHBs), small (SHBs) 세 가지 단백질로 구성되며, LHBs와 MHBs는 S domain을 공유합니다.
MHBs는 추가적으로 preS2 영역(55 아미노산)을 포함합니다.
전 세계적으로 약 3억 5천만 명이 HBV에 감염되어 있으며, 예방접종은 약 30개국에서 모든 아동에게 제공되고 있습니다.
HBV는 Hepadnaviridae 계열에 속하며, 감염이 지속될 경우 간세포암으로 발전할 수 있습니다.
현재 약 4억 명의 HBV 보균자가 있으며, HBV는 가장 흔한 인체 병원체 중 하나입니다.
