Target Information

MMP13 (collagenase 3)는 세포외기질 단백질(피브릴 콜라겐, 피브로넥틴, TNC, ACAN 등)의 분해에 관여합니다. 특히 용해성 Type II collagen에 대한 활성이 가장 높으며, Type I, II, III, IV, XIV, X collagen을 분해할 수 있습니다.
MMP13은 상처 치유, 조직 재형성, 연골 분해, 골 발달 및 석회화 과정에 중요한 역할을 하며, 정상적인 배아 골 발달과 골화에 필수적입니다.
유전자 변이는 spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia Missouri type, metaphyseal anadysplasia 1, metaphyseal dysplasia Sphar type과 관련될 수 있습니다.
