Target Information
MMP13 (collagenase 3)는 세포외기질 단백질(피브릴러 콜라겐, fibronectin, TNC, ACAN 등)의 분해에 관여합니다.
특히 type II collagen에 대한 활성이 가장 높으며, type I, II, III, IV, X, XIV collagen을 절단할 수 있습니다.
MMP13은 상처 치유, 조직 재형성, 연골 분해, 골 발달 및 광물화, 골화 과정에 관여하며, 정상적인 배아 골 발달과 골화에 필수적입니다.
유전자 변이는 spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia Missouri type, metaphyseal anadysplasia 1, metaphyseal dysplasia Sphar type과 관련될 수 있습니다.
