Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous human, mouse, and rat Annexin A4 in Western blots.
It shows no cross-reactivity with recombinant human Annexin A1, A2, A3, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11, or A13.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS before use.
Target Information
Annexin IV (ANX4) belongs to the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins.
Although their functions are not clearly defined, several annexins are involved in membrane-related events along exocytotic and endocytotic pathways.
ANX4 shares 45–59% identity with other annexin family members and has a similar size and exon–intron organization.
Isolated from human placenta, ANX4 encodes a protein that interacts with ATP, exhibits in vitro anticoagulant activity, and inhibits phospholipase A2 activity.
It is predominantly expressed in epithelial cells.
