Target Information
GAK (Cyclin-G-associated kinase) is a serine/threonine kinase originally identified as a protein associated with cyclin G. GAK functions as an auxilin homolog involved in the uncoating of clathrin-coated vesicles by Hsc70 in non-neuronal cells. Its expression oscillates slightly during the cell cycle, peaking at G1 phase.
