The antibody detects a 21 kDa* protein in human Jurkat cells and mouse brain. It does not recognize a human RhoA GST fusion protein.
Target Information
Rac1 is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins. Members of this superfamily regulate diverse cellular events, including cell growth control, cytoskeletal reorganization, and activation of protein kinases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for the Rac1 gene.
