- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Panda, Horse, Pig, Opossum (100%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Rabbit (94%). - For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
DDR1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase activated by collagen and is involved in regulating adhesion, cell migration, and other cellular processes.
Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are essential for cell communication, growth, differentiation, and metabolism.
DDR1 is expressed in epithelial cells of the kidney, lung, gastrointestinal tract, and brain, and is overexpressed in several human tumors (breast, ovarian, esophageal, pediatric brain).
The gene is located on chromosome 6p21.3 near HLA class I genes, with multiple transcript variants due to alternative splicing.
