This antibody reacts with bovine IgG and with light chains common to other bovine immunoglobulins, as determined by ELISA and IEP techniques. It may cross-react with IgG from other species.

Target Information

Anti-Bovine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for bovine (cow, ox) immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility for multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to create highly specific reagents.
