This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the WFDC domain family. The WFDC domain (WAP Signature motif) contains eight cysteines forming four disulfide bonds at the core of the protein and functions as a protease inhibitor in many family members. It is expressed in pulmonary epithelial cells and some ovarian cancers. The encoded protein is a small secretory protein that may be involved in sperm maturation.
