This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Aminopeptidase P is a hydrolase specific for N-terminal imido bonds, which are common to several collagen degradation products, neuropeptides, vasoactive peptides, and cytokines. The enzyme belongs to the pita bread fold family and exists in mammalian tissues as both soluble and GPI-anchored membrane-bound forms. These forms are products of two separate genes.
