Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MLH1 is a DNA mismatch repair protein essential for maintaining genetic stability. Defects in mismatch repair pathways can lead to microsatellite instability (MSI), which is associated with carcinogenesis. Mutations in MLH1 are implicated in hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer (HNPCC). MLH1, together with PMSH and MSH2, participates in the recognition and repair of mismatched nucleotides during DNA replication.
