Target Information
PMCA ATPase는 세포질에서 세포 외부로 칼슘을 펌핑하는 막 결합 효소로, SERCA ATPase 및 Na⁺/K⁺ 펌프와 관련이 있습니다. PMCA ATPase를 암호화하는 네 개의 유전자가 있으며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 20가지 이상의 이소폼이 생성됩니다. mRNA 발현 연구에 따르면 1번과 4번 유전자 산물은 대부분의 조직에서 발현되며, 2번과 3번은 조직 특이적으로 발현됩니다. 또한 스플라이싱 변이체의 발현은 조직 특이적입니다. 예를 들어, 인슐린 분비가 칼슘 의존적인 췌장의 베타 세포는 4b 이소폼만을 발현하지만, 알파 및 감마 세포는 4a와 4b를 모두 발현합니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체는 칼슘 및 칼모듈린에 대한 친화도가 다름이 보고되었습니다.
