- Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin useful as an isotype control.
- Applications Reported: Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells; use at same concentration as experimental antibody.
- Fluorochrome Information: Brilliant Violet™ 650 (BV650) emits at 649 nm and is intended for cytometers with a violet (405 nm) laser. Ensure instrument compatibility.
- Staining Buffer Recommendation: When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
- Light Sensitivity: Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation; protect from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.
- Compatibility: Not compatible with methanol-based fixation.
- Excitation / Emission / Laser: 407 nm / 649 nm / Violet Laser.

Target Information
Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity. It participates in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in immunotherapy and vaccine development.
