Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Mammalian mitochondrial ribosomal proteins are encoded by nuclear genes and function in mitochondrial protein synthesis. Mitochondrial ribosomes (mitoribosomes) consist of a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit, with a protein-to-rRNA ratio of about 75%. Unlike prokaryotic ribosomes, mitoribosomes lack a 5S rRNA. The MRPS11 gene encodes a 28S subunit protein homologous to ribosomal protein S11P family members, with a pseudogene on chromosome 20 and multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
