Target Information
CD63 (LAMP-3, lysosome-associated membrane protein-3)는 tetraspanin 계열의 당단백질로, 다양한 세포의 후기 엔도솜, 리소좀 및 분비 소포에 존재합니다. 세포 활성화 후에는 세포막에서도 발현되며, basophil 활성화 마커로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD63은 integrin과 상호작용하여 식세포작용 및 세포 이동에 영향을 미치며, H/K-ATPase trafficking과 ROMK1 채널 조절에도 관여합니다. 또한 T세포 공동자극 분자로 작용하며, 암의 예후 예측에도 활용됩니다.
활성화된 혈소판, 단핵구, 대식세포에서 강하게 발현되며, 과립구, B세포, T세포에서는 약하게 발현됩니다. CD63은 melanoma-associated antigen ME491 및 platelet antigen PTLGP40과 동일 단백질입니다.
CD63 기능 이상은 melanoma 및 Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
