Target Information
LNX2 (Ligand of Numb Protein X 2) protein is encoded by the LNX2 gene located on chromosome 13 in humans and is also known as PDZRN1 (PDZ domain-containing RING finger 1). Through its PDZ domains, LNX2 forms oligomers and interacts with target proteins. LNX2 functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase and binds to the Numb protein via NPXY motifs. This interaction facilitates ubiquitination of Numb, preventing proteasomal degradation of Notch intracellular domain (NICD) and modulating the Notch signaling pathway.
