Target Information
Glucocorticoid Receptor (NR3C1)는 glucocorticoid의 수용체로, 전사 인자 및 다른 전사 인자의 조절자로 작용합니다. 이 수용체는 heat shock factor 및 immunophilin과 함께 복합체 형태로 세포질에 존재하다가 리간드 결합 시 핵으로 이동합니다. 심장, 대동맥, 심방, 심실 등 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, 여러 프로모터와 스플라이싱 변형으로 다양한 isoform을 생성할 수 있습니다. 또한, glucocorticoid receptor의 변이는 코르티솔 저항성과 관련이 있습니다. GR은 리간드 활성화를 위해 chaperone 단백질 복합체와 결합해야 하며, dexamethasone과 같은 스테로이드에 나노몰 농도로 결합합니다.
