• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG2b, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
• Applications Reported: Suitable for immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested for intracellular flow cytometric analysis at 5 µL (1 µg)/test per 100 µL final volume.
• Recommended cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test (empirically determined).
• Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune responses, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It is also involved in regulating immune responses such as T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostics (ELISA, Western blot, IHC) and in therapeutic development (immunotherapy, vaccine research).
