Product Specific Information

The 6H6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD123, the alpha chain of the IL-3 receptor.
This 60–70 kDa transmembrane protein binds IL-3 with low affinity alone, and with high affinity when associated with CD131 (common beta chain).
CD123 is expressed by myeloid precursors, macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, and megakaryocytes.

This antibody is pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells, recommended at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody that stains a cell sample in 100 µL final volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 600 nm. Recommended detection filter: 610/20 bandpass.
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 2–8°C in the dark using

Target Information

IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family, forming a heterodimer with the common beta (CDw131) subunit.
It mediates IL-3 signal transduction, with heterodimerization induced by IL-3.
IL-3Ra is reported to be overexpressed in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts, making it a potential therapeutic target.
