Target Information
DYKDDDDK tag, also known as FLAG tag, is a short peptide sequence (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) used widely for protein purification, detection, and localization. It can be fused to the N- or C-terminus of target proteins, facilitating identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies. The FLAG tag is hydrophilic, minimizing interference with protein function, and is widely applied in molecular biology and biochemistry research for protein-protein interaction, expression, and localization studies.
