Target Information
ADAM17 (disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 17)은 TNF-α 전구체를 절단하여 성숙한 가용성 형태로 전환시키는 효소입니다. 또한 endothelial cell 표면의 JAM3 및 다양한 세포막 단백질(p75 TNF receptor, IL receptor type II, p55 TNF receptor, TGF-α, L-selectin, GH receptor, MUC1, amyloid precursor protein 등)의 절단을 매개합니다. Notch 경로 활성화에도 관여하며, Notch 단백질을 절단하여 Notch extracellular truncation (NEXT)을 생성합니다. 유전자 변이는 염증성 피부 및 장 질환(neonatal 1)과 관련될 수 있습니다.
