Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
eIF5A2 is an mRNA-binding protein involved in translation elongation. It plays important roles in mRNA turnover, actin dynamics, cell cycle progression, mRNA decay, and stress response. It functions as a regulator of apoptosis and mediates polyamine effects on neuronal process extension and survival. eIF5A2 may be critical for brain development, function, and skeletal muscle stem cell differentiation.
