Target Information
KRIT1 유전자는 네 개의 ankyrin 반복 서열, FERM 도메인, 다수의 NPXY 서열을 포함하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 핵과 세포질에 존재하며, ICAP1α와 결합하여 β1-integrin 매개 세포 증식에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 junction 단백질 및 Rap1A와 상호작용하여 내피세포 접합부의 완전성을 유지하는 데 필요합니다. 미세소관 관련 단백질로서, 미세소관 타깃팅에도 관여할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 뇌해면혈관기형(cerebral cavernous malformations)을 유발할 수 있습니다. 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
