- Reconstitution: Add 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
- The antibody is shipped as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
- Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
- Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.

Target Information
Voltage-gated sodium channels regulate sodium ion permeability in excitable cells. During action potential propagation, sodium influx depolarizes the cell.
Type I and III alpha subunits are mainly expressed in neuronal cell bodies and proximal processes, while type II alpha subunits are abundant along axons.
Beta1 subunit of sodium channel type I is expressed in brain, skeletal, and cardiac muscle. In the brain, beta1 and beta2 are highly expressed in Purkinje cells, and beta1 is also found in pyramidal cells of deep cerebellar nuclei.
Dysfunction of voltage-gated sodium channels is associated with diseases such as myotonia.
