Product Specific Information
The N418 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD11c (integrin alpha X), which associates with beta 2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer. CD11c is expressed by dendritic cells, intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes, and some activated T cells. It binds to CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, playing a role in leukocyte adhesion.
N418 binds to CD11c on splenic dendritic cells in the T-dependent areas of the mouse spleen and precipitates a 150, 90 kDa heterodimer.
- Applications Reported: Immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections and immunocytochemistry
- Applications Tested: IHC-F on mouse spleen ≤ 5 µg/mL (optimize for best results)
- Not validated for flow cytometry
Filter Recommendation:
Use a filter capturing 615 nm emission (e.g., Excitation 560/55, 585LP, Emission 645/75). Standard Alexa Fluor® 594 filter is acceptable.

- CD11a: Expressed in B/T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils
- CD11b: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B/T cells, granulocytes
- CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and a subset of lymphocytes
