면역원은 thrombin에 의해 활성화된 혈소판 상등액에서 정제된 Human Factor IV입니다.
Target Information
Platelet factor-4(PF4)는 활성화된 혈소판의 알파 과립에서 방출되는 70개의 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질입니다.
PF4는 heparin과 높은 친화도로 결합하며, 혈관 내피 표면의 heparin 유사 분자를 중화하여 antithrombin III 활성을 억제하고 응고를 촉진합니다.
또한 PF4는 호중구와 섬유아세포에 대한 강력한 화학주성 인자로 작용하여 염증 및 상처 치유 과정에 관여합니다 (Eisman et al., 1990).
