For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

IGF1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) is structurally and functionally related to insulin, but exhibits higher growth-promoting activity. It induces cellular responses such as proliferation, differentiation, migration, and survival across various cell types in muscle, bone, and cartilage tissues.
IGF1 also enhances glucose transport and metabolism, acting as a potent activator of the AKT signaling pathway, which promotes proliferation and inhibits apoptosis.
Low IGF1 levels have been associated with Alzheimer's disease, and genetic defects in IGF1 can lead to growth factor deficiencies. Mature human IGF1 is 100% homologous with bovine and porcine IGF1 proteins.
