Target Information
Trpc6는 세포막에 존재하는 수용체 활성화 칼슘 채널을 형성합니다. 이 채널은 diacylglycerol(DAG)에 의해 활성화되며, phosphatidylinositol second messenger 시스템의 제어를 받는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 활성화는 protein kinase C(PKC)와 무관하며, 낮은 세포 내 칼슘 농도에 의해 유도되지 않습니다.
TRPC6 유전자의 결함은 Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis 2 (FSGS2)와 관련이 있습니다. TRPC6는 mammalian transient receptor potential (TRP) superfamily의 한 구성원으로, PLC-coupled receptor에 의해 활성화되는 receptor-regulated cation channel로 작용합니다.
TRPC6/6/7 하위군은 DAG 유사체에 의해 활성화될 수 있으며, DAG에 의해 PKC 비의존적으로 활성화되는 receptor-operated cation channel로 알려져 있습니다.
