For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Susceptibility to tuberculosis (TB) in mice has been linked to the IPR1 gene, a member of the SP100/SP140 nuclear body protein family.
SP110 encodes a leukocyte-specific nuclear body component that functions as a gene transcription activator and may act as a nuclear hormone receptor coactivator.
Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms. SP110 is the human homolog of the murine IPR1 protein and may integrate intracellular pathogen signals with innate immunity, cell death, and pathogenesis mechanisms.
SP110 expression increases following Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and is required by Anaplasma phagocytophilum for infection of human promyelocytic cells.
Defects in SP110 are associated with impaired resistance to M. tuberculosis infection.
