Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
ARPC1A is one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. This subunit belongs to the SOP2 family and is closely related to ARPC1B. Both are thought to function as the p41 subunit of the Arp2/3 complex, which regulates actin polymerization. The p41 subunit may contribute to the assembly and structural maintenance of the complex, and its variants may adapt complex functions to specific cell types or developmental stages.
