The TRI-COLOR® conjugate is a tandem R-phycoerythrin (PE)-Cy5 conjugate that enables simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets using a single excitation source (488 nm argon-ion laser line).
Target Information
CD45RO (UCHL1, ubiquitin carboxyl terminal esterase L1) is the shortest isoform of the receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase CD45 glycoprotein.
CD45 plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, acting as a regulator of Src-family kinases. It promotes cell survival through integrin-mediated signaling and participates in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis.
CD45 isoforms differ in extracellular domains but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. Expression varies by cell type and physiological state.
CD45RO is expressed on macrophages, CD8+ T cells, activated T cells, and myeloma cells.
